CTFI Wins 2019 at Collision All-Stars Pitch Competition

On October 23, 2019, CTFI was honored and humbled to be named the winner of the 2019 Collision All-Stars Pitch Competition at Connecticut Connections! The winnings from this event will be put towards launching the next phase of the Film for Therapy Division (details TBA!)  We especially thank Sound Web, Middletown Entrepreneurial Workspace (MEWS) the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce and Tim Laubacher of Sound Web pictured with our founders at the close of the competition.

CTFI Becomes Members of WIFVNE

After attending the annual meeting in Boston at  WGBH, CTFI became apart of the growing non-profit organization Women in Film and Video: New England. Huge “thank you” to President Alicia Orsini for extending an invite to be her guests at the event! CTFI is Essex Savings Bank's "Business of the Month"

Essex Savings Bank in Old Saybrook recognized CTFI as their “Business of the Month” for July 2019! The table consisted of handout information for TriCircle INC an organization dedicated to providing resources for individuals and families affected by substance use disorders. TriCircle was CTFI’s premier film for therapy piece “Together WE Are Stronger. Thank you Essex Savings for supporting local businesses! 

Team CTFI Screens Film at Mystic Film Festival

CTFI’s “After 48 Hours” screened at the second annual Mystic Film Festival. After creating the entire film in only 48 hours with rules and regulations provided by the 48 Hour Film Project New Haven, Team CTFI took home the award for Best Sound Design at New Haven’s Golden Awards Night. Huge thanks to Trish Clark for the opportunity to submit to the Mystic Film Festival and her hard work in facilitating the 48 Hour Film Project.
